Financial Lines Claims Handler
Manchester
Salary - £35,000
Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days working from home)
Our client is an independent broker is looking to expand its Manchester office with a Financial Lines Claims Handler.
The role:
- Reporting to the Claims Director, you will manage a portfolio of Financial Lines losses, including Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers, Cyber and Travel claims.
- There is no upper limit in value to these losses, so your caseload will be allocated on technically competencies.
- Whilst there is no delegated authority, this is by no means a post-box service. You will present losses to insurers, manage the progress of the lifecycle and negotiate and challenge the settlement terms.
The required skills:
- Ideally you will have experience handling Financial Lines claims, from a broker or insurer.
- However if you have a keen interest in this field and have Casualty claims experience with an additional Law degree, we would be keen to speak with you.
